Photographing Louisiana-Pacific's Groundbreaking Ceremony in North Branch, Minnesota

Some events are more than ribbon cuttings or ceremonial shovel tosses; they mark the beginning of something that will have a lasting impact on an entire community.

I recently had the privilege of serving as the event photographer for Louisiana-Pacific's groundbreaking ceremony in North Branch, Minnesota. Community leaders, state officials, business partners, and local organizations gathered to celebrate an investment that will bring new opportunities and continued growth to our region.

Capturing More Than Just Photos

Corporate event photography isn't simply documenting who attended.

It's anticipating the moments that matter.

For this event, that included:

• Event details and branding
• Community leaders connecting before the ceremony
• Each speaker's remarks
• The official groundbreaking
• Group photographs
• Images for media, public relations, and future marketing

These photographs immediately became part of the event's story, supporting press releases, social media, and community communications.

Photography That Serves a Purpose

One of the things I enjoy most about corporate event photography is understanding how the images will be used.

Whether it's a groundbreaking, ribbon cutting, awards banquet, conference, leadership announcement, or community celebration, the photographs become valuable tools for:

• Public relations
• Marketing
• Annual reports
• Company websites
• Social media
• Community engagement
• Historical documentation

Congratulations, Louisiana-Pacific

Congratulations to Louisiana-Pacific and everyone involved in bringing this exciting project to North Branch.

Thank you for trusting MJCollins Photography to document such an important milestone!
