Frequently Asked Questions:

HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK?

First, I ask that you have fully reviewed the information, including the pricing guide, before making your reservation. Then you can make your appointment online and book your slot by paying the session fee. Once we have confirmation of your registration, I will contact you directly by phone within 48 hours to discuss your session and how to order your photos which will be available 1-2 weeks after your Santa Session.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?

We recommend you come with your child already dressed so your time is not taken up by getting them ready. You may set up time in advance, prior to your scheduled time, to come and use the bathroom to do minimal preparations. Children can wear cute or holiday pajama's, neutral colors like cream or khaki, warm browns, very simple patterns or the classic winter fair isle, or warm reds and greens. They can dress causal or formal. It is recommended not to wear solid black (without some kind of pop of color) bright greens or tomato red.

CAN WE HAVE A FAMILY PICTURE TOO?

Yes! We would probably have time for 1-2 family photos. You are welcomed to have a family photo with Santa or if you prefer not, we can give Santa a few minutes to go check on his reindeer.

WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE SURE OUR EXPERIENCE GOES SMOOTHLY?

I have worked in childcare for over 25 years, so I can honestly tell you, the more preparation you can give your child ahead of time (older or younger aged!) the better. You would think an older child wouldn't need prep, but they do as well! Make sure you chat about it well in advance in the car, at dinner, while letting you help pick out their outfit, etc...really getting your child excited about seeing Santa. If they are old enough, they can think about what they might want to ask him for or write him a letter. You can read them stories about Santa, or look at pictures from past years. Then, a day or two before hand, let your child know you will be going to someone's home where Santa will be in the living room, ready to greet the children. They can sit on his lap, or stand beside him. They can talk to Santa or hug him and also, a lady (me!) will be taking pictures too!

WHAT IF MY CHILD CRIES OR IS SCARED & SHY?

This is a common thought every parent has when going to visit Santa. While there is no guarantee your child will be happy, wanting to participate or cooperate, we do everything we can to get a beautiful portrait with Santa. Sometimes you just have to embrace the crying photos or the grumpy scowl. You'd be surprised how much you will like them despite the fact and how much you will love them in years to come. If it is still a bust, you are not required to purchase photos if you don't like them. If a soft blanket, item or 'lovie' helps, please bring it along! Parents or older siblings might want to be prepared to be in the photos or to help distract your child with a toy or noise maker.

IS THERE AN ORDER MINIMUM?

No there is not. You will be given a gallery of watermarked proofs to make your selection from and will be able to see the product available when you check in to your Santa Session or go to the store now and browse! You only buy what you love. We will touch base by phone or email with the directions or information needed for the purchases or downloads.

ARE THERE EXTRA CHARGES INVOLVED FOR MULTIPLE CHILDREN?

4 or more children from the same immediate family will be $15 per child. Keep in mind our set is small living room size.  We can make every attempt to schedule friends and cousin sessions one right after another so you can be together and have a longer experience with Santa and time for multiple groupings. 1-4 children is a comfortable size and families up to 5-6 members is about right. Each child will have individuals taken with Santa and together as a group. ---> This will not be available for 2020 Santa Sessions due to COVID-19 restrictions

CAN I BRING MY PETS TOO?

Due to the length of time, size of the set and possible allergy's, pets are not a good idea for this session.

WHAT AGES ARE APPROPRIATE FOR THE SANTA EXPERIENCE?

Any age! Santa would love to snuggle your infant and hang out with the young at heart, so everyone is welcomed!
